Rialto Film Series Presents: Darby O’Gill and the Little People

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the lucky Irish folklore feature dubbed a “charming concoction of standard Gaelic tall stories, fantasy and romance" by The New York Times. This elaborate Walt Disney fantasy stars Irish-born actor Albert Sharpe with Janet Munro in her Golden Globe-winning performance and Sean Connery in his first starring and singing role. A wily old codger matches wits with the King of the Leprechauns while playing matchmaker for his daughter and the strapping lad who replaced him as caretaker. Presented with the Rialto’s recently upgraded digital projector, screen and sound system.
