Take a walk to hear Atlanta’s stories of how its oldest neighborhoods were built, forgotten and are now redefining the city today.
We bring Atlanta’s past to street level, exploring the lives, struggles, and triumphs of those who shaped it and called it home. Starting in South Downtown, home to some of Atlanta’s earliest residents. We will see how this “old town” is becoming new again. We will see reminders of its past in historic “Hotel Row” and the golden dome of the State Capital, and a vision of the future as a technology hub and intown neighborhood. We’ll share stories of entrepreneurs, talk of popular social clubs and landmark Civil Rights locations.
