Morelli's has been making ice cream in Atlanta since 2008, when Donald Sargent and his wife Clarissa Morelli opened the original shop on Moreland Avenue in East Atlanta. The counter at CTR Food Works is one of four Morelli's locations in the city, and like the others it works off a flavor list that changes.
